Inpatient Care - Highlands County

Cornerstone Hospice Inpatient Care in partnership with The Palms of Sebring in Highlands County offers acute, short-term Hospice care during periods of crisis for symptom management.  Patients may be living at The Palms of Sebring or in their own home, assisted living facility, independent care facility or nursing home to be referred for this service.  At Cornerstone Hospice Inpatient Care at The Palms, patients receive their care in a supportive, home-like environment which helps make each day a meaningful experience and offers guidance and support to those who share their lives.

This coordinated approach of care can benefit individuals:

• Who are experiencing a period of crisis
• Who need follow-up to hospitalization
• Who need aggressive pain and symptom management
• Who require treatments or medications that are complex, including infusions and IV therapy

Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance cover this care.
