January 2011

My husband, Richard, had been sick for a long while, and the last 2 1/2 years were the darkest.  One day, a wonderful neighbor said it was time to call Hospice.  Not knowing what that implied, I agreed.  It was like sitting in a dark room when suddenly a knock comes on the door and a bright light comes in - Nurse Linda from Hospice.  She comes in with a big smile and a hug and goes to work helping Dick.  From that moment on, everything was done with such grace, kindness, and love.  I felt such calmness, and even had the peace of falling asleep knowing everything was being taken care of.  How do you say "Thank You" for such Godlike service?  May you have all your dreams come true.

Fondly,  Esther
